Paul Klimas, GISP, recently rejoined the Woolpert, Inc., team as a project director. His responsibilities include IT-Geodetic related consulting services for Woolpert clients. Klimas previously served as a project director for more than a decade, specializing as a technical advisor in system integration for ESRI applications at Woolpert. Prior to his return, Klimas spent over five years working for the City of Grand Rapids, MI, developing and managing the IT-GIS strategic initiatives. He has extensive experience in system and database design, as well as programming.

Klimas brings to the position a B.S. in Computer Science from St. Joseph's College, in addition to AutoCAD operations, Intergraph MGE/MGA operations and ESRI ArcInfo operations and development certifications. Klimas has been recognized with awards such as the IMAGIN, GIS for Everyone Award in 2002, the Special Achievement in GIS Awards, ESRI, 2004, and most recently the Excellence in Technology Award for Best IT Collaboration Among Organizations, Digital Government, 2005.
