The National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) awarded UCLID Software, LLC, Madison, Wis. with a New Product Award - Small Company division for its IcoMap mapping software. IcoMap software uses a patented Text-to-Vector technology to read text at any angle and recognize the text strings found in legal descriptions, parcel maps and other land records. It is the only software in the world that can recognize the angled text associated with land measurements, according to UCLID representatives.
