EarthWatch, Longmont, Colo., and PCI Geomatics, Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada, have created a software partnership.
The partnership licenses the EarthWatch QuickBird sensor model to PCI Geomatics to implement into the Geomatica software application product suite. The partnership allows users of PCI Geomatics software access to the latest resolution with the launching of the QuickBird 2 satellite in October 2001.
“This relationship will provide higher value products and solutions to the EO community and is coupled with an important marketing relationship,” said Arnold Hougham, vice president of sales at PCI Geomatics.
