MoreERDAS Inc., Atlanta, Ga., will release ERDAS IMAGINE version 8.5 in the third quarter, 2001. ERDAS IMAGINE is a raster-based geographic imaging software.
New features of version 8.5 include 3D visualization, scene creation capabilities, space-saving features using MrSID compressor, and upgrates to the mosaicking tool such as a preview feature, a cropping feature and support for off-line imagery.
