Early Registration for GIS in the Rockies Extended 08.02.2002

Savings for early registrants now available until August 15.

The Board of Directors of GIS in the Rockies 2002 announces that the deadline for early registration is extended to August 15.

"Many of our attendees are just now receiving the printed program. We want them to have the opportunity to take advantage of the significant savings available to people who act promptly to register," said Dave Murray, Chair of the Board of Directors.

The first day of the conference, Tuesday, October 8, 2002, comprises workshops and will be highlighted by a luncheon address by Dr. Tina Cary, founder and president of Cary and Associates. Wednesday's program begins with a keynote address by USGS Geographic Information Officer Karen Siderelis, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the exhibition. Concurrent technical sessions and the exhibition will continue through Thursday.
