CarteGraph announced that the next series of Getting Started in Public Works Asset Management Workshops will be held Dec. 4 in Akron, Ohio, Dec. 5 in Middletown, Ohio and Dec. 6 in Findlay, Ohio. Information in the workshops provide insight on how to select the proper tools and on implementing the correct asset management process. The presentations will be based upon the Getting Started in Public Works Asset Management guide published by CarteGraph and will outline the steps necessary to select, implement and maintain a successful asset management system. The presentations will also include information on complying with governmental accounting principle GASB 34, as well as a look at CarteGraph software applications. Copies of the Getting Started in Public Works Asset Management guide and other materials will be distributed at the presentations. Cost to attend a workshop is $75 per person.
