PCI Geomatics, Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada, has been accepted to the Innovation Acceleration Center (IAC) at the Canada Center for Remote Sensing (CCRS). The IAC provides a framework for cooperation between government and industry in research and development and allows CCRS to help accelerate the development of geomatics and remote sensing products and services. Under the IAC, PCI Geomatics will be provided support from CCRS to assist in understanding the CCRS Imaging Spectrometer Data Analysis System, ensure proper implementation in the PCI Geomatics software environment, and better understand technology application possibilities. The ISDAS system is being integrated with Geomatics as part of three projects recently awarded by the Canadian Space Agency under the Earth Observation Applications Development Program to commercialize the ISDAS system. PCI Geomatics will be able to provide users of hyperspectral data with a software package that will allow them to analyze and visualize their hyperspectral data as well as integrate it with other geospatial data.
