The Grand Canyon Monitoring and Research Center (GCMRC)in Flagstaff, Ariz. has a need for airborne LIDAR and orthorectified color-infrared digital imagery of the Colorado River corridor from the Glen Canyon Dam at Lake Powell down to, but not including, Lake Mead. The collection area includes approximately 490 linear river kilometers with an average swath of 500 meters centered on the river. LIDAR and imagery must be acquired between May 19 and June 2, 2002. LIDAR and image data shall be geo-referenced using airborne GPS and IMU technology and shall not be dependent upon ground control.
