New appointments at SOKKIA and announcement of corporate officers at TVGA.

SOKKIA Corp., Olathe, Kan., appointed Todd Holen as product communications manager. This is a new position created to increase communications among the sales, manufacturing and research departments. Holen works with users and design engineers to promote faster development of new products and clear communication of advances as well as enhancements for existing products.

Also, SOKKIA appointed Dave Henderson as district sales manager for the south central United States, serving distributors and customers in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico and Arizona. Henderson has 18 years of experience in the industry, including several years of experience as a regional sales manager for Lietz/SOKKIA.

TVGA Engineering, Surveying, P.C., Elma, N.Y., announced new corporate officers. Edward M. Schiller, PE, has been named president of the firm. He previously acted as vice president and will continue to operate as division manager of Environment and Planning.J. Preston Halstead, PE, and Roman H. Figler, PLS, have been named vice presidents.

New senior associates of the firm includeKenneth Wojtkowski, PE, Michael Pratt, PE and Robert Napieralski, CPG. Newly elected associates of the firm include Douglas Hager, PLS; Thomas Carleton, PLS; Neil Watson and Peter Szustak, PE.
