Intergraph Mapping and GIS Solutions, Huntsville, Ala. and MapText Inc., Plainsboro, N.J., announced that they have signed a global reseller agreement. Under this agreement, Intergraph will sell MapText’s Label-EZ software for automated cartographic text placement in GeoMedia Professional and MicroStation map production workflows. Label-EZ eliminates much of the labor involved in producing a map, and reduces overall productions costs. It adds value to GeoMedia in the time-consuming process of text placement in the areas of speed labeling, ability to place text successfully and ease of use.
