Goal is to become the most advanced provider of Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal and Assessment Administration (CAMA/AA)-related technologies.

NovaLIS Technologies, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, and business partner, TerraSoft, are formally joining forces to provide customers with the best Geographic Information System (GIS)-based assessment solution on the market. Under the agreement, both companies will maintain their individual names and continue to serve their customers.

The goal of the merger is to become the most advanced provider of Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal and Assessment Administration (CAMA/AA)-related technologies such as valuation methodologies, user definable customization, workflow capabilities, and complete GIS/CAMA integration. This will be accomplished by combining NovaLIS' development and product resources with TerraSoft and President Bill Wadsworth’s industry expertise.

Under the terms of the merger, TerraSoft will remain a separate entity with President Bill Wadsworth. TerrSoft customers will continue to be supported by TerraSoft for as long as they are using the technology they currently have installed. They will also have the option of migrating to future TerraSoft/NovaLIS CAMA/AA products, NovaLIS’ existing Assessment Office solution, or implementing other NovaLIS land records management products, under Wadsworth’s guidance.

Presently, NovaLIS and TerraSoft are working together on a customized Geodatabase-oriented Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal and Assessment Administration (CAMA/AA) System for Alachua County, Florida.
