Sanborn, Pelham, N.Y., announced the company’s plan to consolidate its six divisions under the Sanborn name.
Sanborn, a company focused primarily on GIS and photogrammetric mapping, steadily acquired several regional firms over the past two years. The company’s most recent acquisition, in April of this year, was the Colorado Springs office of Analytical Surveys, Inc. Before that, the company acquired Williams-Stackhouse, based in San Antonio, Texas; Barton Aerial Technologies, based in Columbus, Ohio; Charlotte, North Carolina-based Aero-Dynamics; St. Louis, Missouri-based Walker Associates, and Rochester, New York-based Lockwood Mapping Company.
The divisions currently operate under their own names, but will officially begin to do business under the Sanborn name early next year. The company also plans to unveil its new look at the same time. Visit www.sanbornmap.com.
