Applanix was responsible for the design, manufacture, research and development of the POS MV product line. TSS has been responsible for worldwide marketing, distribution and customer support for the past five years. There will be a gradual changeover of sales, support and marketing leading to the final ending of the partnership on Jan. 31, 2002. TSS and Applanix will work together during that time to support POS MV customers and users.

Applanix will market and support POS MV and other aided inertial technology through its newly formed Marine Division, Applanix LLC, based in Houston. Additional customer support, product development and engineering capabilities will remain available through Applanix, Corporation, the parent company. Applanix LLC is in the process of installing customer support and sales facilities in South East Asia and the United Kingdom that will be focused on the marine and offshore sectors. TSS will develop its range of motion, navigation and detection products.
