LizardTech Inc., Seattle, Wash., announced its Higher Education Pricing Program that provides discounted imaging software for researchers and administrators in colleges and universities.

The Higher Education License Program allows licensing of LizardTech’s flagship products, MrSID, DjVu and the LizardTech Content Server. Institutions can customize the program according to individual academic department needs.

“Through LizardTech’s educational pricing program, we have been able to take advantage of MrSID, DjVu and now LizardTech Content Server software to continue to build the affordable delivery infrastructure for our detailed historic documents and aerial imagery of the trail,” said Alex Philip, director of the National Lewis and Clark Education Center.
