ESRI announced that its Eighth Annual ESRI/ERDAS Latin-American User Conference will be held Nov. 28-30, 2001, at the Hotel Quito in Quito, Ecuador. ESRI President Jack Dangermond will be the keynote speaker, and the conference will feature many activities including plenary sessions, software presentations, workshops, user presentations and a poster exhibit. Product specialists will demonstrate ESRI’s GIS software and the ERDAS remote sensing and geographic imaging software products. GIS classes will be taught prior to the conference and will focus on ESRI’s ArcGIS, geodatabase management and ArcObjects programming with VBA. All classes will be taught in Spanish.
