Maptech: Pocket Navigator

Maptech, Amesbury, Mass., launched the Pocket Navigator, which allows users to transfer genuine USGS topographic maps and NOAA charts to a handheld PC. Pocket Navigator software works with Maptech digital charts and maps. Major features of the Pocket Navigator include the ability to work with or without GPS; to create routes, and markers with distance and compass bearing information when working with GPS; to support real-time tracking; to display detailed color Maptech digital maps, charts and photos; and to place name databases. It also comes with a nine pin patch cable that connects your GPS cable to the Pocket PC handheld cable. The Terrain Navigator and Digital ChartKit are sold separately.
