DotSoft announced PointConvert 1.0, a Windows standalone application that lets users convert survey point files between different formats in batch. Support is included for major formats from Tripod Data Systems (TDS), Autodesk, Carlson, C&G, LandXML and more. PointConvert allows users to quickly select one or hundreds of files in various formats, designate a desired target format from the supported list, specify the export order and separator for ascii text exports, and monitor progress of the current file as well as overall progress. As a standalone Windows application, this tool does not require any CAD engine to be installed. It processes the binary file formats directly, and does not need any other applications installed.
