Sokkia now offers price breaks on the Stratus with post-processing software and the GSR2600 portable, dual-frequency GPS system.

SOKKIA’s GSR2600 L1/L2 GPS System: $32,990.00

To provide a low-cost solution for a wide range of post-processed and kinematic applications, Sokkia now offers a portable, dual-frequency GPS system — GSR2600 — that features a scrolling LCD display, and a battery that is also compatible with Sokkia ’s GPS product line, digital level and 300, 500 and 600-level Total Stations.

This system setup is available for a price of $32,990.00 in the U.S.market. The scrolling LCD display enables users to view PDOP and HDOP details quickly and easily, providing more informa tion on-screen. A new keypad setup provides easy menu system navigation and data entry. GSR2600 also features a smaller size — 153mm x 160mm x 70mm ((6.03in x 6.30in x 2.76in)— and improved power consumption.

At the heart of the GSR2600 system is a 1.3 kg, 12-channel GPS receiver and SK-600 GPS L1/L2 antenna,usable in post-processed (static and kinematic)and real-time kinematic (RTK)applications. The dual-frequency receiver features a removable memory card and front panel operation. The GSR2600 is portable, reliable and accurate, and can operate in any weather condition, with an RTCA/DO-160 D category R (an equivalent to IXP7).

The system combines a Windows CE SDR8100 field book with Spectrum Survey Suite V3 processing and adjust- ment software. The coupling of these two products makes the GSR2600 an ideal candidate for a variety of applications.

Spectrum Survey is a part of the advanced products developed by POINT Inc., for Sokkia. The product is available through Sokkia ’s worldwide distribution channel.

Providing cost options that evolve with the needs of the GPS market, Sokkia now offers a two-receiver L1 integrated GPS system setup — Stratus — with post-processing software — Spectrum Survey Suite — for $6,990. This system setup includes a third free GPS L1 receiver free. This offer is available to Sokkia’s U.S.network only.

This package is available for a kinematic upgrade and includes an optional Windows CE handheld controller. Stratus is a fully integrated L1, 12-channel GPS receiver, antenna and battery in one system. Stratus ideal for a variety of static and kinematic applications, including boundary surveys, control densification, as-built mapping and natural resource mapping. An Infrared (IR)communication link to the handheld controller provides cable-free operation, eliminating confusing cable connections and time-consuming setup procedures in the field.

Couple Stratus with Spectrum Survey — a GPS post-processing and adjustment software package — and you can prepare for the job, do the job and finish the job without the need for additional software. Spectrum Survey handles all aspects of managing and processing Stratus receiver data. Data processing, network adjustment, analy- sis tools and blunder detection to enable you to complete any job quickly and easily.
