Nigel Mason Will Speak At Laser-Scan's 13th annual User Group Conference 06.28.2002

One of Europe's leading spatial information systems consultants Informed Solutions are joining the list of high profile speakers at Laser-Scan's 13th annual User Group Conference.

Nigel Mason, Business Consultant for Informed Solutions will be delivering his view on the current direction of the industry and his predictions for the future.

Nigel Mason comments:

"The spatial industry is undergoing a period of fundamental change. Technology is advancing rapidly, intelligent data is becoming more widely available, organisations are more spatially aware. It is imperative that we embrace these changes to maximise the value of our investments."

The two-day conference kicks off with a keynote speech from Oracle's Global Product Manager Mike Turnill. The rest of the first day is packed with presentations, demonstrations and workshops focussing on Laser-Scan's new product Radius Topology.

The Managing Director of one of the most successful mapping agencies in Europe, Niels Andersen gets the second day underway with a keynote presentation. He will be discussing how his organisation KMS is moving towards the future with particular emphasis on e-government and international co-operation.

The agenda also features presentations from Laser-Scan's partner companies Snowflake Software and GDC, as well as customers from a wide range of industries. Speakers from Laser-Scan's user communities in the fields of defence, national and commercial mapping, and government will be discussing why Laser-Scan technology is their preferred choice for developing their solutions.
