MoreNew technological advances by GBA Master Series, Inc., Kansas City, Mo. and SOKKIA Corporation, Tokyo, Japan, will combine a solution for infrastructure management software and mapping/GIS data acquisition for public works and water resources agencies. The advances will allow field crews to gather GPS coordinate values and enter attribute data while inspecting a variety of infrastructure assets.
Data acquired from the field can be imported from SOKKIA’s Axis3 GPS Receiver with IMap mobile GPS/GIS software operating on Pocket PC hardware into the GBA Master Series suite of infrastructure management software applications.
