MoreMartin Morgan, chairman of Sanborn, a geographic information system (GIS) and photogrammetry industry leader, announced that Bob Williams, a former vice president of sales and marketing for the Colorado Springs, Colorado-based company, has returned to Sanborn to run the company’s St. Louis, Missouri, office, effective immediately.
Williams is now senior vice president and general manager of Sanborn’s St. Louis office. A former co-owner of the St. Louis operation—which was known as Walker Associates before Sanborn acquired it in 1999—Williams is a certified photogrammetrist with over 20 years’ experience in the aerial photography and mapping industry.
In his new position, Williams will direct all sales and marketing efforts for the St. Louis office. He will also be responsible for the technical operation of the mapping facility.
“Bob led this office when it was Walker Associates both before and after its acquisition by Sanborn. He grew St. Louis into a very successful operation, and there is certainly no one better qualified to take the business forward again,” remarked Morgan.
