DMTI Spatial, Markham, Ontario, released CanMap Streetfiles V6.0. This release boasts over 6,900 kilometers of new named street segments and over 2,100 kilometers of new addressed street segments, representing the most comprehensive Canadian street map data available.

CanMap Streetfiles nationwide and detailed coverage are ideal for those B2B and B2C geospatial applications that require addressed street mapping data as a critical component to information location and data analysis. Built to rigorous cartographic standards, CanMap Streetfiles v6.0 provides addressed street segment coverage for 87 percent of the population and named street segment coverage for 99 percent of the population. The file also provides detailed topographic and geographic features for 157 major Canadian Urban Areas.

CanMap Streetfiles are updated quarterly and are the foundation on which other DMTI Spatial products nest with precision.
