MoreIntermap Technologies Inc., Denver, Colo., and Global Mapper Software LLC, Olathe, Kan., have formed a strategic alliance to further develop and market the software tool 'Global Mapper.' The agreement allows Intermap to distribute the Global Mapper software at no charge to customers who buy data from Intermap's archive or through its custom projects program.
Intermap is digitally remapping the world, building an unprecedented database, called NEXTMap, of highly accurate digital topographic maps (including elevation). Customer's purchase Intermap's high-quality, low cost data to facilitate better decision-making for numerous commercial, government, military and consumer applications.
