The LPS is an integrated suite of digital photogrammetry products that empowers users to transform raw imagery into reliable data layers required for all digital mapping, GIS analysis and 3D visualization.

Leica Geosystems GIS & Mapping announced that the new Leica Photogrammetry Suite is now shipping worldwide. The Leica Photogrammetry Suite (LPS) is an integrated suite of digital photogrammetry products that enables users to transform raw imagery into reliable data layers required for all digital mapping, GIS analysis and 3D visualization. LPS is fully compatible with Leica Geosystems' geographic imaging software suite, ERDAS IMAGINE 8.7, now also available worldwide. LPS is the first step in Leica Geosystems' next generation products that streamline workflow from data capture through finished data.

The engineers who created LPS have incorporated user feedback that resulted from years of supporting SOCET SET. It is available for purchase as an entire unit or in components. The product suite consists of:

  • Leica Photogrammetry Suite Core (Core)
  • Leica Photogrammetry Suite Stereo (Stereo)
  • Leica Photogrammetry Suite Automatic Terrain Extraction (ATE)
  • Leica Photogrammetry Suite Terrain Editor (TE)
  • Leica Photogrammetry Suite PRO600 (PRO600)
  • Leica Photogrammetry Suite ORIMA (ORIMA)

The process-driven workflow of LPS and fast processing speeds increase users' productivity, while the modular design allows users to scale the software to fit their needs. Additionally, customers can count on Leica Geosystems' Technical Support team
