MoreArc Second Inc. announced that Mr. Ray Ryan has joined the Arc Second team as the company’s new Western Operations Manager and Metrology Specialist. Mr. Ryan is a 20-year veteran of the industrial measurement industry with broad experience in the aerospace, automotive, marine, communications, construction and energy research sectors. Mr. Ryan’s experience includes roles, among others, with Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, ATT Metrology, Bombardier, Raytheon, Goodrich Aerospace, General Dynamics, Bell Helicopter and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.
“We are extremely excited to have Ray on the team,” said Edward Barrientos, President and C.E.O. of Arc Second. “Ray’s in-depth knowledge and solid reputation make him a natural for this very critical position.” Mr. Ryan will be helping to lead Arc Second’s drive into the manufacturing sector. His responsibilities will include sales and marketing of all of Arc Second’s products and services as well as providing customer support and training. Mr. Ryan will be helping to expand the customer base in all areas of research and development, manufacturing and product verification, and assisting with development of products and services to meet Arc Second’s growing list of customers.
Mr. Ryan received his Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science in Engineering from the University of Washington and has been active in many societies and committees related to the use of high accuracy measurement systems, including the American Society of Photogrammetry (ASP), the International Society of Photogrammetry (ISP), American Congress on Surveying and Mapping (ACSM) and Coordinate Measuring Systems Committee (CMSC).
