MoreArc Second Inc., the leading provider of laser-based 3D-measurement products, announced a strategic partnership with Accurex Measurement Inc. of Moorestown, New Jersey. Accurex was formed in 2002 and is made up of engineers and marketing professionals from laser tracker manufacturer SMX which was acquired in 2002 by Faro Technologies Inc.
Arc Second's president and CEO, Edward Barrientos commented, "The Accurex team is one of the most experienced metrology teams in the world." Barrientos added, "Working with the talented group that made the SMX tracker a success in Aerospace and Automotive industries gives Arc Second a tremendous head-start in making Constellation 3D-I the technology solution of choice for large scale metrology problems in the future.
