The A.R.E. Inc. manufacturing plant in Fernley, NV, has achieved ISO9001:2000 quality certification. It joins the company's Massillon and Mount Eaton, Ohio facilities, which were qualified in 2002.
"We are very pleased to have achieved this distinction, and are very proud that all three of our manufacturing plants are now ISO-certified," said Chuck Monson, general manager of the Fernley facility. "By undertaking this program, we have improved our internal processes and documentation, which in turn advances the overall quality and consistency of our products."
Monson praised Todd Masters, quality assurance manager, for his efforts during the certification process. Other quality team members included Dwight Miller, plant manager; Rodney Dantz, environmental, safety and facilities manager; and the entire production team.
The Fernley manufacturing plant, which opened in 2002, employs 121. The facility ensures faster and more efficient delivery west of the Rocky Mountains, and also increases A.R.E.'s production capacity nationwide, Monson added.
