SECO introduced a new solution for stabilizing and creating freestanding leveling rods. The two new bipods—the 5217-20, which fits larger Invar-style rods and the 5217-21, which fits standard leveling rods—feature open-clamp heads. SECO bipod users will be familiar with the easy-to-use TwistLoc locking mechanism and SECO’s original Thumb Release adjustable telescopic legs. As with all SECO Thumb Release bipods, the thumb buttons serve a dual purpose; they can easily be turned clockwise or counter clockwise to adjust leg tension. (SECO, Redding, Calif.)
