MoreGiveMePower Corporation, a leading provider of desktop, mobile and wireless software solutions for the design/build industry, announced that it has acquired new graphics software for use with GiveMePower's PowerCAD computer-aided design software systems. This new software, which includes nearly 8,700 two- and three-dimensional architectural and mechanical design symbols, dramatically enhances the productivity of PowerCAD. The software was acquired from Cad Easy Corporation, the leading provider of pre-drawn symbols for the computer aided design (CAD) industry. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
The acquisition more than doubles the number of symbols available for GiveMePower's PowerCAD® desktop and mobile CAD systems. "PowerCAD users can now plug-in more than 16,000 AutoCAD compatible symbols to dramatically enhance their productivity," said GiveMePower President & CEO Bill Walton. "By simply dragging and dropping high quality architectural, mechanical, structural and electronic components into their drawings, our clients can produce professional 2D and 3D designs for thousands of dollars less than the competition."

For architects and building designers, eight component libraries feature nearly 1,200 detailed 3D symbols, allowing instant insertion of kitchens, landscapes, bathroom facilities, offices, space planning components and vehicles.
The newly acquired symbols also include a mechanical master pack, featuring twelve individual libraries comprised of more than 7,500 related symbols, covering such areas as bearings, fasteners, flow charts, geometric positioning, hydraulics and pneumatics, metric fasteners, pins, pipe fittings, plant process control, steel shapes, structural steel and welding symbols.
All symbols are visually presented and instantly usable with GiveMePower's PowerCAD LT+ and PowerCAD Pro systems for Microsoft Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP desktop computing, and PowerCAD CE, the world's first full-powered CAD system for Windows CE mobile/wireless computing.
