By moving PocketCAD to Windows CE .NET, mobile CAD users and developers will have access to a fast, user-friendly and customizable mobile CAD solution.

Arc Second Inc. announced that its upcoming PocketCAD Software Development Kit (SDK) is based on the Windows CE .NET embedded operating system, the newest version of the Microsoft Windows CE embedded operating system.

The re-architecting of PocketCAD for the Windows CE .NET operating system allows for a new range of opportunities for PocketCAD developers. Commercial developers will now be able to embed Arc Second’s industry-leading mobile CAD technology into their own mobile applications. The new SDK allows developers to work in a variety of languages including Visual Basic and C#. Several new capabilities have also been added to the already-powerful PocketCAD SDK.
