MoreClary & Associates Inc., professional surveyors and mappers, celebrated its 20th anniversary in June with a special employee appreciation event at Country Day School in Jacksonville. All company employees and their families were invited to take part in the festivities.
“We wanted to take this time to honor all of the employees at Clary & Associates and recognize their hard work,” said Greg Clary, President and Founder. “As we celebrate 20 years of serving our clients and our community, I wanted to personally thank all of our employees for their dedicated service and commitment to the company.”
Clary started the company in 1983 by opening an office on Beach Boulevard in Jacksonville with seven employees. Today 40 employees work at the company’s corporate headquarters, a 6,500 square foot office building on Crown Point Road in Mandarin. Eight of the employees have been with the company for 10 years or more.
During the past 20 years, employees at Clary & Associates have seen many changes in the surveying and mapping industry. Industry advancements have paved the way for changes in surveying equipment and its applications of technology.
Clary is also committed to his employees’ professional development. From 1989 to 1993, Clary served on the Board of Land Surveyors, the profession’s regulatory agency.
While serving on the Board, Clary was instrumental in re-writing a statue for the Department of Professional Regulations, changing “land surveyor” to “professional surveyor and mapper.” Clary & Associates, Inc. is the industry leader for professional surveying and mapping services throughout Florida and the Southeast. The company provides Subdivision Surveying & Platting, GPS Surveys, Transportation Design & Right of Way Surveys, Topographical Surveys, Condominium Surveys, Subsurface Utility Designation and Vacuum Excavation, and Geographic Information System (GIS) Services.
Clary & Associates specializes in large, multi-phase subdivisions and commercial real estate surveying, including condominiums, apartment complexes, lodging facilities, shopping centers, malls, business parks, and industrial sites. Clary & Associates also has extensive experience providing transportation surveys to meet FDOT and associated governmental standards and requirements.
As Clary & Associates celebrates its 20th Anniversary in 2003, Founder Greg Clary attributes the firm’s continued growth and success to its high standard of excellence. The firm serves a wide spectrum of first-class clients, including the most prestigious businesses and governmental organizations in the country.
