EarthData International of Maryland and portions of EarthData Holdings moved to the organization’s new, state-of-the-art mapping and GIS operation in Frederick, Maryland. The move signals EarthData’s on-going commitment to provide clients with the most advanced and comprehensive products and services available.

The co-location of the business units under one roof will allow EarthData to meet the increasing needs of Washington, DC-area federal government and international agency clients with even more efficiency and precision. The move also will expedite the integration of both GeoSAR and ISTAR as full-scale production-ready mapping systems.

With 26,000 square feet of production and meeting space, 10GB processing network, and 22 miles of category 6 telephone and cable, the EarthData team is even better positioned to meet the daily challenges to the industry as a whole to increase automation, streamline processes and develop new technologies that enable clients to receive more detailed data faster.
