The Department of the Treasury U.S. Customs Service (USCS) Advanced Training Center will be built on a 104-acre parcel of land located in Harpers Ferry, W. Va. The project will consist of design for this center, the site development and the construction of the center infrastructure, training areas, and support buildings. The AEC Team shall provide all work necessary to implement the project, including boundary and topographic surveying, subsoil explorations, mechanical, electrical, civil, structural, fire protection and life safety, geotechnical, environmental engineering and more. Architects and engineers shall be registered in the State of West Virginia. Construction contractors shall have valid licenses in the State of West Virginia or the ability to obtain such licenses. The AEC Team shall conduct such surveys, studies and presentations as may be required to secure permits and regulatory codes from Jefferson County, W.Va. for the successful execution of the project. Proposals are due on Jan. 15, 2002.
