Tom D. Stevens comes to TDS with experience from Arc Second and Topcon.

Tripod Data Systems (TDS) announced the appointment of Tom D. Stevens as national sales manager. Stevens will transition to this new role immediately and will report to Dave Scribner, TDS president.

“Tom is a natural choice to lead our sales group,” Scribner said. “His previous position with Arc Second was centered on opening up new channels and markets. This experience will help us in opening up new markets for our new Recon rugged handheld computer.”

Stevens joined TDS as the Central and West Coast regional sales manager in July 2002 from Arc Second, a maker of 3-D measurement instruments and mobile CAD software, where he was the director of sales. Before that he worked for Topcon for 12 years as the West Coast regional sales manager.
