Bob Bailey, Donnie Stallings and David Pluym were hired based on their experience in the industry and their existing relationships with dealers and customers nationwide.

Carlson Software Inc. has expanded its sales and tech-support team with the addition of Bob Bailey as director of Data Collection Sales, David Pluym as director of Government Sales & Midwest Representative, and Donnie Stallings, as a programmer. Bailey will be based at the company’s headquarters in Maysville, KY, office, while Pluym will work in Kieler, WI, and Donnie Stallings will be located in Raleigh, NC.

“All three new hires are very well-known and have extensive experience in our high-tech software industry,” says Bruce Carlson, founder and president of Carlson Software. “With our new additions, we look forward to increasing our presence and customer service nationwide.”

Bailey will be working directly with existing dealers and new resellers specifically with Carlson SurvCE, Carlson’s field data solution in real-time screen graphics.

“I first became aware of Carlson Software when Nikon was in the GPS business and purchased SurvCE to operate their GPS systems,” says Bailey, who has 30 years of experience in the surveying manufacturing field and comes to Carlson Software after serving as sales manager at both Nikon and Sokkia.

Pluym brings 10 years of experience in engineering and sales and offers the leadership skills to help continue to build on Carlson Software’s presence as the premier provider of surveying and engineering software solutions. Pluym’s most recent position was Business Consultant/Gov. Account Manager with Eagle Point Software.

With 15 plus years experience, Stallings is a licensed Professional Land Surveyor in NC, SC, and GA. Stallings is the author of network lest squares, Carlson’s new feature in C&G 2004 product line and the XML2 product line. He was a former support developer with C&G, TopCon, and Geopak.

Bailey can be reached at Carlson’s headquarters in Maysville, Ky., (606)-564-5028 or via email at bbailey@carlsonsw.com, and Pluym can be reached at the new Midwest office in Kieler, Wisc., at (877) 435-2925 or email dpluym@carlsonsw.com.
