MoreIntergraph Mapping and Geospatial Solutions and the Intergraph GeoSpatial Users Community (IGUC), Huntsville, Ala., hosted an Intergraph Geospatial Software Symposium and solutions seminars in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, which began on November 13, 2003. More than 140 geospatial professionals from local, provincial and federal governments to transportation agencies, communication and utility organizations and industry consultants converged for the symposium.
The symposium and the seminars provided opportunities for professional development, networking, new industry insight, a view of the latest products and services and a look at completely integrated end-to-end geospatial solutions. In addition, Intergraph customers gave presentations about implementations using Intergraph technology. Presentations from the city of Hamilton, Union Gas, Teranet and Niagara Falls Hydro all demonstrated how customers utilize Intergraph technology in an innovative way to solve business issues.
An awards presentation paid tribute to a number of Intergraph customers during the symposium. The city of Hamilton, the city of Brampton, Enersource Corporation and Toronto Hydro were presented an Intergraph Geospatial Excellence award to honor their visionary plans and applications built using Intergraph's geospatial technology.
