A|E|C Systems Announces Show Dates For 2004 02.28.2003

Hanley-Wood Exhibitions combined with A|E|C Systems and Computers for Construction show.

In an effort to better meet the needs of attendees and exhibitors, Hanley-Wood Exhibitions, new owners of the former A|E|C Systems and Computers for Construction, will combine both shows and re-launch a single event titled, 'A|E|C Systems...Technology for Design & Construction.'

To expand the range of resources available, the A|E|C Systems...Technology for Design & Construction will be co-located World of Concrete, which is also owned and produced by Hanley-Wood Exhibitions.

Held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida USA, A|E|C Systems...Technology for Design & Construction will run February 18-19, 2004, with the conference program beginning one day prior to the start of the show.

Retaining its own entity, A|E|C Systems...Technology for Design & Construction will offer separate events and educational seminars targeted to its specific industry. While there will be unique registration criteria for the two events, badges will allow access to either event.

"Presenting these two shows in the same facility, at the same time, allows each to maintain its own unique appeal, while benefiting from the presence of the other," said Rick McConnell, Senior Show Director of A|E|C Systems...Technology for Design & Construction. "We look forward to working with the attendees and exhibitors of the former A|E|C Systems and Computers for Construction shows to develop a first-class event that will serve their needs."

Elimination of Computers for Construction
Through consolidation, the Computers for Construction shows, originally slated for June 2-5, 2003 at the Washington Convention Center, and November 11-13, 2003 at the Navy Pier in Chicago, will be eliminated and merged into A|E|C Systems...Technology for Design & Construction.

"This decision was made to respond to the changing needs of the industry," said McConnell. "We are very eager to produce a consolidated event in an effort to maximize the value of participation in an industry event by limiting the number of trade shows and pooling the resources between these two strong shows."
