Intergraph Mapping and Geospatial Solutions has extended the entry deadline for the GeoMedia Best Practices Awards and Poster Competition through April 16, 2003. This year's Best Practices Awards will honor three educators in two distinct categories higher education for community colleges, universities and distance learning programs; and kindergarten through 12, primary and secondary schools. The Poster Competition will award three cash prizes to students in higher education curriculums. All winners will receive cash prizes, international recognition and complimentary registration to GeoSpatial World 2003, May 19-21, in New Orleans, Louisiana. First place recipients in each category will also receive complimentary travel and accommodations for the duration of the conference.
