Carlson Software Inc., Maysville, Ky., hired Bob Bailey as director of data collection sales, David Pluym as director of government sales and midwest representative, and Donnie Stallings, PLS, as a programmer. Bailey is based at the company's headquarters, Pluym works in Kieler, Wis., and Stallings is located in Raleigh, N.C. Bailey works directly with existing dealers and new resellers of Carlson SurvCE software. Pluym brings 10 years of experience in engineering and sales to his new position. Stallings is licensed in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia and has more than 15 years of experience.

Leica Geosystems, Atlanta, Ga., hired David Donahue as director of sales for the northeast region. Donahue spent eight years in the 1980s as direct sales representative and regional sales manager for the Wild Heerbrug Company, now Leica Geosystems. David Page was named technical sales representative in the eastern Ontario region. Page is responsible for sales and technical support for Leica Geosystems surveying products throughout the region. Also, John Asaro joined Leica Geosystems as vice president of marketing, for the Americas. Asaro is responsible for marketing for the Survey and Engineering Division in North and South America, and is based in the regional headquarters in Norcross, Ga. He replaces Hugh Baertlein, who has been promoted to global sales manager for Leica Geosystems' Consumer Products Division.

Phillip D. Miller joined PBS&J's (Orlando, Fla.) National Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) division as a senior IT specialist. Miller supports payment systems with an initial focus on toll systems and business process management. Miller holds an M.B.A. with concentrations in finance and accounting from the University of Chicago and a B.S. degree in civil engineering from Duke University.
