MorePBS&J, a multiservice engineering consulting firms, has acquired TriLine Associates, Inc., a 42-member engineering consulting firm that specializes in transportation, geotechnical, and environmental services. TriLine is located in the South Point business park in Washington County, Pennsylvania.
Founded in 1988, TriLine joins PBS&J as a division of the firm on June 1, 2004. TriLine's clients include the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission; the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation; Washington County, PA; Findlay Township, PA; Robinson Township, PA; and numerous private industrial and commercial enterprises.
PBS&J, an employee-owned firm with 3,300 employees in more than 60 offices across the nation, first established a Pittsburgh area office in March 2001 and has 23 employees at its location at 410 Rouser Road in Coraopolis. Among PBS&J's current projects in the Pittsburgh area is the Pittsburgh International Airport Taxiways T&V Rehabilitation for the Allegheny County Airport Authority. PBS&J is providing design and construction administration services for this assignment. Recently the firm was selected to design the $50-million Field Maintenance Complex at the airport.
PBS&J will maintain both Washington County and Allegheny County offices. They will be fully integrated and networked with all other PBS&J offices.
PBS&J is an employee-owned firm that provides infrastructure planning, engineering, construction management, and program management services to public and private clients. The firm is ranked by Engineering News-Record as 21st among the nation's top consulting firms and 2nd by CE News magazine among the "Best Civil Engineering Firms to Work For." PBS&J recently was awarded the American Business Awards' Stevie Award for Best Human Resources Organization. PBS&J posted revenues of $389 million in 2003.
