FieldWorks and Leica Geosystems Announce Distribution Alliance 09.05.2002

The companies come together for sale and service of the extensive line of Leica Geosystems products in the states of Colorado, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri and Indiana.

FieldWorks and Leica Geosystems announced a strategic distribution alliance for the sale and service of the extensive line of Leica Geosystems products in the states of Colorado, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri and Indiana. In a related announcement FieldWorks made public plans for the company's expansion into the St. Louis metropolitan area. The new location will be named "FieldWorks Missouri" and is scheduled to open November 1, 2002.

Michael S. Adkins, FieldWorks' President and CEO stated, “Our partnering with Leica Geosystems significantly enhances the depth and diversity of our current product and technology offerings and represents an exceptional fit with regard to FieldWorks' future business strategies. Our planned expansion into the St. Louis market is just one example of how our companies can work together to provide a quality presence where current alternatives are limited.
