Conestoga-Rovers & Associates Appointed Leica Geosystems’ GPS/GIS Dealer 04.05.2002

CRA, distributors of GPS/GIS products in Ontario, will now also sell and support the entire GPS/GIS product line from the GIS & Mapping Division to local governments and utilities segments in Michigan.

Leica Geosystems’ GIS & Mapping Division is announced that it has expanded its relationship with Conestoga-Rovers & Associates Family of Companies (CRA), distributors of its GPS/GIS products in Ontario (Canada). CRA will now also sell and support the entire GPS/GIS product line from the GIS & Mapping Division (GS50 and GS50+, GS5 and GS5+ data receivers and the GIS DataPRO post-processing software) to local governments and utilities segments in Michigan, effective immediately.

Founded in 1976, CRA is one of North America’s most accomplished full service engineering and consulting firms. CRA is headquartered in Waterloo (Canada) and has over 1,300 employees and 45 offices in North America, Mexico and the United Kingdom. CRA includes several other entities that continue to maintain their own regional identities while working seamlessly within the entire organization. CRA has a solid reputation with its innovative and technically-experienced staff. Its clients know the company for its responsiveness and commitment. “CRA is very excited to represent Leica Geosystems within the state of Michigan as we stand behind their technology. Our decision to enter this market will be combined with our overall package of services for utilities and local governments,” said David Van Vliet, Manager of Information Technology Services for CRA.
