DAT/EM Systems Adds Quality Assurance Engineer 01.16.2003

Position will have a special focus on Summit Evolution.

DAT/EM Systems International has added Mr. Matt Altman as its new Quality Assurance Engineer. He is a welcome addition to DAT/EM Systems, which already employs a highly skilled staff of technical professionals.

Matt comes to DAT/EM Systems with a BS in Imaging Science with honors from Rochester Institute of Technology in New York State. He will be responsible for beta testing of all new DAT/EM Systems¿ software releases with a special focus on Summit Evolution, DAT/EM Systems premiere digital photogrammetric workstation. Other areas Matt will be responsible for includes equipment testing, software troubleshooting, and overall company product quality compliance.

Matt has previously worked at the Rochester Institute of Technology in the Center for Imaging Science. Projects he worked on while employed with RIT included the Digital Imaging and Remote Sensing lab¿s feature detection and 3D environment modeling, laser range finding techniques, and 3D modeling of stellar nebula.

Matt also worked for the University of Rochester in the Laboratory for Laser Energetics. While at the University of Rochester he worked on the optic modeling and beam smoothing of laser technology.

Matt was born and raised in Alaska and is excited to be joining one of Alaska¿s top software and technology manufacturing companies.
