Laser-Scan and Sysdeco Team Up 11.11.2002

Sysdeco will integrate Laser-Scan's latest product, Radius Topology, with its own GIS application, GINIS Vision.

Laser-Scan is pleased to announce a new partnership with Sysdeco.

Sysdeco, a leading applied geographics company, will integrate Laser-Scan's latest product, Radius Topology, with its own GIS application, GINIS Vision. By adding these two advanced products to an Oracle9i database Sysdeco will be able to deliver vast improvements in performance and data consistency to its wide customer base.

Both companies have a long experience of delivering solutions to government departments as well as commercial organisations; Sysdeco will co-operate with Laser-Scan on joint opportunities within these fields.

This is a perfect example of the way in which Radius Topology can add value to existing technology. The combination of Sysdeco's GINIS technology with Radius Topology will offer a powerful solution for spatial data users such as national mapping agencies. Laser-Scan's Radius Topology works behind the scenes, automatically adding topological intelligence and consistency to the spatial data held in Oracle 9i. Sysdeco's GINIS Vision application continues unchanged.

GINIS Vision is a powerful solution for digital map distribution, management and production. It is a scaleable system, equally at home on a single desktop, or as an enterprise-wide mapping solution. GINIS Vision provides full mapping and plotting functionality together with advanced customisable data editing features. GINIS Vision is based on, GISfoundation, Sysdeco's object library for GIS developers and GISobjects, Sysdeco's component library for GIS solutions.
