Oracle users are invited to find out how they can dramatically improve their business performance with the latest spatial technology.

Laser-Scan and Autodesk are holding a joint one-day seminar (Wednesday 27th November) to demonstrate how Radius Topology, coupled with Autodesk Map and MapGuide, can deliver real benefits in the Oracle spatial environment.

Technical Manager of EMEA at Autodesk, Kevin Challen said:

Radius Topology works behind the scenes; Autodesk Map or MapGuide users can enhance their data capture and maintenance operation without changing their GIS application or their Oracle spatial software. This one day seminar will show delegates exactly how Radius Topology works and where users will see improvements in their day to day work.

Experts from Autodesk and Laser-Scan will deliver presentations and guide delegates through live demonstrations of Radius Topology technology integrated with Autodesk's applications.

Laser-Scan's Radius Topology extends the Oracle9i database and provides dramatic improvements to the speed and consistency of spatial data handling. Users can rely on correct data and ultra-fast spatial query for enhanced business decisions and increased productivity.

Autodesk MapGuide helps organisations develop, manage, maintain, and deploy GIS and digital design data applications on the Internet, intranet, extranet, or in the field. Autodesk MapGuide software's powerful, easy-to-implement client/server technology assembles spatial and attribute data from multiple sources and delivers it in real time where it is needed via the Web to thousands of simultaneous users inside or outside the customer's organisation.
