NovaLIS Technologies opens new West Coast Regional Office 10.04.2002

Also hires new Sales Manager.

NovaLIS Technologies, a leading developer of geographic information system land records management software, opened a new West Coast Regional Office and hired a new regional sales manager to better service the Western United States market.

David Finney will serve as the NovaLIS Regional Sales Manager, supervising the sales of all products and services for the Western U.S.; this includes California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Alaska, and Hawaii.

Finney had nine years of direct experience in local and state government sales. Before coming to NovaLIS, Finney served as an industry consultant for Kiva (now Accela), another vendor within the same vertical market.

Along with his experience in sales and consulting, Finney has worked as an Implementation Services Director. Prior to working in the government software area, Finney spent 14 years in local governments as a building inspector, plans examiner, building official, Community Development Director, and city manager.

David has been previously certified as a Building Inspector, Plans Examiner, and as a Certified Professional Code Administrator (CPCA). David has a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Pacific University, and has additional education in Business Law and Public Administration from UCLA and Brigham Young University.

NovaLIS’ is an international company with US corporate headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina and Canadian corporate headquarters in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The West Coast office is one of five regional offices located across the United States. NovaLIS’ other offices are located in Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Texas.
