Allen Osborne Associates Inc., Westlake Village, Calif., released Version 6.03A of TurboSurvey Software 2 for GPS processing. This new version offers over 20 new features and improvements. New capabilities include a semi-automatic download of CORS Station data, improved fixed static baseline processing algorithms, faster resolution of long baseline kinematic data, new datum handling capabilities, grid coordinate entry of master station coordinates, DXF output, orthometric height handling and others. The benefits of these changes include higher productivity and flexibility in data collection capabilities.

TurboSurvey Software 2 Version 6.03A enables the user to nearly automatically download data from permanent GPS network receivers (many of which are pre-loaded), decompress, parse and resample the data to match the collection sample rate of user equipment. This enables a user with multiple units to "topo" an area using all available receivers in a kinematic mode and use the CORS station data as a base with which to process the data. Another application is to create a network using CORS stations, post-mission, to create a loop for checking closure between points.
