Trimble's Regional Sales Manager for the Engineering and Construction Division passed away on Sunday, August 18.

It is with great sadness that Trimble announces the death of Ed Down, Trimble's Regional Sales Manager for the Engineering and Construction Division.

Ed has been with Trimble for more than 11 years working out of the Chicago, Illinois office. During his tenure with Trimble, Ed managed the Midwestern sales region for Trimble’s Survey Commercial Systems and Precise Positioning Groups and more recently Engineering and Construction Division. He will be remembered for his friendship, integrity, diplomacy, never-ending persistence to close the deal, and most importantly, his wonderful sense of humor--a trait that he exhibited, no matter the situation.

Ed passed away on Sunday, August 18. He leaves his wife, Lucy and two children, Sasha and Natalie.
