MoreAvenza Systems Inc., the developer of MAPublisher map production software, is requesting entries for the 2nd Annual MAPublisher Map Competition. This competition is a forum for MAPublisher users to showcase their work, share ideas and compare their productions with other MAPublisher users from around the world.
"MAPublisher users are among the most gifted cartographers in the world and this competition is intended to recognize their achievements," said Ted Florence, president of Avenza Systems Inc.
The competition is open to all maps created with MAPublisher. Awards will be presented for the map judged as the best in each category along with a grand prize for the Best Map Overall. In addition, in the Academic Collection category, the winning institution will receive a free 10-license academic package for use in their MAPublisher learning environment.

Submissions will be accepted until June 14th, 2002 midnight EST and winners will be announced July 15th, 2002.
