Trimble GPScorrect takes first place for innovative extension.

Trimble's GPScorrect for ArcPad gained GIS industry recognition for its scope, quality and maturity by winning top honors in the Extension category of ESRI's ArcPad Challenge. As part of its International Users Conference, ESRI's ArcPad Challenge acknowledges cutting edge solutions developed by strategic business partners that enhance the use of ESRI's ArcPad software.

The GPScorrect extension gives improved position quality and reliability by enabling GPS data collected in Shapefiles to be differentially corrected. Working directly within the ArcPad software, GPScorrect provides easy management of GPS and real-time differential GPS (DGPS) settings to ensure data collected in the field meets the required standards. And it retains all data in ArcPad's native Shapefile format, avoiding the need for any additional data reformatting.

The GPScorrect extension provides seamless interaction between ArcPad software and Trimble's GeoExplorerr CE series handhelds and GPS Pathfinderr series receivers. Using the GPScorrect extension, ArcPad mobile GIS users have full control over the GPS receiver and full control over the quality of their data.
